The Truth about your health...

The one you don't want to read.

Imagine it's Monday morning… because we all love those.

And you've just hit the snooze button for the third time.

You eventually drag yourself out of bed, grab a coffee, and rush to work, skipping breakfast.

By midday, you're feeling sluggish and irritable, and you wonder why your energy levels are so low.

Sound familiar?

This is a common scenario many of us face, and it's a clear sign that we're not prioritizing our health.

Taking care of your physical and mental health is like maintaining a car.

You wouldn't expect your car to run smoothly without regular oil changes and check-ups, right..?

…The same applies to your body and mind.

But instead of a service, it needs regular sleeping patterns, good habits, and self discipline.

In Today’s 4-3-2-1:

  • 4 prompts :1 about your past, 2 about present and now, 1 about your future.

  • 3 questions to spark creativity in a world that doesn’t encourage it.

  • 2 affirmations to empower your journey.

  • 1 tool to help with today’s topic.

"Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind, and spirit—the realization that everything we do, think, feel, and believe affects our state of well-being."

- Greg Anderson

4 Journal Prompts:

  1. Reflect on a Past Health Choice:

Think about a time when you neglected your health. What were the consequences, and what did you learn?

    • Example: "I remember when I was in college, I barely slept and ate poorly. It led to constant fatigue and poor performance."

  2. Evaluate Your Current Health Habits:

Identify one current habit that benefits your health and one that doesn't. How can you enhance the good habit and reduce the bad one?

    • Example: "I go for a jog every morning (good habit), but I also skip breakfast too often (bad habit). I’ll start prepping healthy breakfasts the night before."

  3. Assess Your Mental Health Routine:

How do you currently manage stress? What methods can you adopt to improve your mental well-being?

    • Example: "I usually watch TV to unwind, but I’ll start incorporating meditation to better manage stress."

  4. Plan for a Healthier Future:

Set a health goal for the next six months. What steps will you take to achieve it?

    • Example: "I aim to lose 10 pounds. I’ll create a balanced meal plan and exercise four times a week."

3 Questions to Unleash Creativity:

  1. Mindfulness Exercises:

    • Example: Practice yoga or meditation to clear your mind and foster creative thinking. I have tried both, and yoga is intense, but boy do you feel good… I should get back on that.

  2. Nature Walks:

    • Example: Spend time outdoors to rejuvenate your senses and inspire fresh ideas. some of my best ideas have come to me outside away from everyone, and everything, just being there with the big guy

  3. Creative Hobbies:

    • Example: Engage in activities like painting, writing, or playing an instrument to boost your creativity. My partner and I have just taken up painting; honestly, we love it… more soon.

2 Affirmations:

"I am in control of my health and make choices that benefit my body and mind."

"Every step I take towards better health brings me closer to a happier, more fulfilling life."
